About Tai Chi
Tai Chi Chuan (also taijiquan) is a martial art and philosophy that originated in China hundreds of years ago. It is now practised world-wide for its health benefits and as a self defence system. Composed of well structured, graceful and gently flowing movements, Tai Chi promotes relaxation, improves health and builds strength and confidence. Sometimes called a moving meditation, it helps focus the mind and diminishes the stresses and strains of everyday life.
